Description

Switching to organic foods can sometimes be difficult; not because the food is not that good.  The food tastes great, but it can be difficult to find in our urban environment.  Knowing that the food you eat is free from pesticide, herbicide, and anything-else-cide residue will release you of any worries that your family may consuming the poisons humans use to grow crops.

To prevent the loss of crops, a simple method of alternating rows with different types of plants, along with a few other simple crop-growing techniques makes organic growing simpler than it is made out to be.  Harvesting huge swaths of plants of the same type is what makes corporate farming so simple - but at the cost of rampant spraying of chemicals.  Dozens of people are poisoned every year, even in the US, because they are too close to the chemicals being sprayed.  Do you want that same stuff on your food?  Who knows how well your produce was washed down.

Support farmers markets and shop at markets that specialize in organic foods.  They may appear to be more pricey, but your family's health will be the benefit.
