Description

And now for the most touchy subject that we will address.  This website in no way posits for or against any form of religion or religious entity.  As you read more about the environmental movement, you will realize that fighting for protection of our biosphere leaves no stone unturned.  Over the past twenty years or so, religious leaders have called upon the masses that the earth should be respected and left for nurturing the generations to come after.  Pope John Paul II and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew (also known as the Green Patriarch) have called upon their billions of followers to protect the environment.  Cross-culture conferences of all religions have declared this as a non-partisan directive for all people to follow.  Many Eastern religions have this mindset built into their lifestyles, unlike many other regions, where this almost has to be relearned.  If interested, research how your leaders address this issue.
